The Caux Forum will be back in 2024 with two main events, exploring the importance of the Inner Development Goals and Europe’s role in promoting democracy.
The Caux Forum takes place at the Caux Palace in Caux, Switzerland. It offers a safe space of trust, care, solidarity and respect provides them with the opportunity to discuss openly and in-depth a variety of issues. Participants and speakers from all walks of life will be addressing burning issues of our time and collaborating to find innovative, creative and sustainable answers together.

It aims to inspire, equip and connect individuals, groups and organizations so that they can build a just, peaceful and sustainable world. It encourages each of us to reflect on our roles, explore our resources, and connect with our responsibilities as changemakers.

From 9 to 13 July, Caux Initiatives of Change will be hosting the Caux Inner Development Goals Forum, in partnership with Initiatives of Change International and IDG partners. Registrations upon invitation will open on 20 March at 10am CEST
Leveraging the synergy between the Inner Development Goals Framework and Initiatives of Change’s refined methodologies developed over 75 years in organizing Caux Forums and dialogues, participants from diverse backgrounds will have the chance to collectively confront pressing issues of our time, in particular the achievement of the SDGs.
This forum encourages reflection on individual roles, exploration of available resources, and connection with responsibilities as changemakers. The underlying premise is that everyone can make a difference.
Participants and speakers are drawn from the Inner Development Goals and Initiatives of Change communities of civil society, government, academia and business.

In partnership with Initiatives of Change International, other civil society networks and the United Nations, the Caux Democracy Forum will take place from 15-19 July 2024 at the Caux Palace, Switzerland. Registrations open on 20 March at 10:00 CEST.
This four-day residential forum on “The Role of Europe in Promoting Democracy” is part of a three-year programme (2024-2026), designed to promote and enhance democratic governance, human rights, and sustainable economic development.
The Caux Democracy Forum, drawing on participants and speakers from peoples’ movements, civil society, United Nations agencies, government and non-traditional sectors, is designed to enable, facilitate and encourage the skills, capabilities and attitudes needed to strengthen democracy in Europe and foster Europe’s role in promoting democracy widely across the world.
